F-6-1 to F-5-2
Basic Condition
A foreign spouse who is maintaining a normal (legal) marriage with a Korean spouse and,
A person who has continuously stayed in Korea for more than 2 years as a Korean spouse (F-6-1).
Financial Requirement
If the income of the applicant or a family member* living together is the gross national income per capita of the previous year announced by the Bank of Korea
(GNI) ex. 42,487,000 KRW(2022 GNI) or higher
The total assets of the applicant or family members living together must be above the median level.
Basic Requirement
Completed the social integration program, or scored 60 points (out of 100 points) or higher on the comprehensive evaluation for permanent residence or naturalization.

Basic Documents
① Application form (Attachment No. 34), original and copy of passport, alien registration card (stay status F-6), fee for one standard size photo (200,000 won for change of status + 30,000 won for permanent residence card)

③ Korean spouse’s basic certificate (detailed), marital relationship certificate (detailed), family relationship certificate (detailed), 1 copy of resident registration certificate.
④ (If there is a child) Family relationship certificate of the child (detailed)
[Documents confirming normal marital life]
⑤ Family events (marriage of relatives, entrance, graduation, etc.), holidays, travel, daily life, etc. Photos taken by the couple during their married life (3 or more)
⑥ If necessary, the details of messages exchanged between the couple, confirmation documents from those around them (family, co-workers, neighbors, etc.), and other documents confirming marital life, etc.
[Criminal Record]
⑦ Original overseas criminal record certificate (issued within 6 months from the date of application, public verification and translation required)* Please fill in the personal information and contact information of the translator and attach a copy of your ID.
[Documents required for ability to maintain livelihood]
⑧-1 (income amount greater than or equal to gross national income per capita) Proof of the amount of income of the person or a family member living together submitted together)
⑧-2 (Household assets above the median level) Documents proving the assets of all family members living with the individual (deposit and withdrawal transaction details, proof of deposits and savings, deposit and monthly rent contracts, proof of all real estate registration items, etc.) and credit information inquiry form (issued by the Korea Credit Information Service)
